Schwalbe is a family owned company with over forty years of design and manufacturing expertise. Famous for our Marathon touring tyres, our range now encompases high end mountain bike tyres and top level road race tyres including the enhanced Pro One tubeless tyre with our new ‘Souplesse’ carcase technology. Our tubeless technology also played a major role in the success of our renowned G-ONE gravel tyre range which, along with several road and MTB tyres, are now available in tanwall Classic-Skin. Being a German based company, we have always produced innovative tyres for the European commuter market with Schwalbe being a pioneer of ‘balloon bike’ tyres with the Big Apple and Fat Frank. We have also never forgotten all the old bikes still doing good service out there and so we continue to offer older, and in some cases almost obsolete, sizes with some in traditional whitewall and gumwall.

Dry powder coating - in a rattle can!

Spray.Bike was created out of frustration with existing products. If you’re not an experienced pro, it’s so difficult to use metal or car spray paint on bikes. It drips and dribbles and is extremely hard to control. And professional electrostatic or powder coating can get super expensive. At Vicious Cycles Athens, while trying to repair a damaged frame using a standard RAL spray, we were so disappointed with the results that we phoned up the manufacturer, “Well what do you want the paint to do?” was the reply. After 2 years of development, Spray.Bike was the answer.

Since 1981, Swallow has hand-built only bespoke frames for discerning clients around the World. Each Swallow frame is unique to match the owner's size, needs and style. You will speak with the person that will design and build your frame during a detailed consultation, using a Calfee sizing jig and BikeCAD Pro. We use Reynolds 953, Columbus and other selected stainless and steel tubing with fillet brazing or hand-cut lugs to achieve exactly the bicycle or tandem you desire.

Adventurous clients can build their own frames with one-to-one tuition on our frame-building courses.

ted james design

Ted James Design was founded in 2010 by Ted ‘Superted’ James. Ted started building frames eight years ago and has since made a name for himself as a top builder, winning awards at Bespoked in 2013 and 2016 and being chosen by Reynolds to build the first 921 stainless frame for testing. Ted builds all kinds of bikes (MTB, BMX, CX, Road, Touring, Track, Town) in steel, stainless steel and titanium, from custom-built one-offs and prototypes to small batches of frames. He also makes bars, forks and racks and machines a lot of his own parts for his own builds and for other framebuilders, including head tubes and bottom bracket shells. Ted’s bikes, which have been described as “future collectables”, are all hand made in the UK by Ted.

The Vandal Metalworks is what happens when a singlespeed obsessed mechanic, with a background in visual arts and jewellery making, learns to braze.

Crafted in the depths of a lock up in Glasgow, TVM frames are raw creations that capture the freedom and carefree hooligan nature that makes cycling what it is.

Using little more than hand tools and a vice, Ande DM has poured (often quite literally) blood, sweat and tears into a range of projects. Each of which retains that rough edge and sense of fun that cycling delivers.

Founded as an aerospace company, in the mid 90’s Thomson used their expertise to create a patented bicycle seat post design. Entirely new with a one-piece machined design it was light enough for an unmatched ride, but strong enough set a new benchmark for quality. Over time beautiful, well thought out stems and handlebars were added to the range and now some carbon and titanium parts too.

Always of the highest precision, Thomson is the discerning choice for any custom handmade bicycle.

Tri-Sept Cycles

I build variable head angle bikes out of composite materials. The variable head angle is a new concept and allows the rider to adjust the front fork angle from 60-70 degrees without dismounting . The bike geometry can quickly be altered for uphill or downhill with a simple twist of a knob whilst moving. The movement is height compensated to keep the bike at the same height on any setting. I am showing a carbon fibre and aluminium mtb with a head angle adjustment  of 60-70 degrees
