Bespoked - The UK Handmade Bicycle Show - A Celebration of Handmade Bicycles & Those Who Make Them
2021 APPLICATIONS
DEAR SUSAN
Fresh from his successful USA pilgrimage, frame building Odyssey and debut appearance at the North American Handmade Bicycles Show Petor Georgallou of Dear Susan comes to Bespoked riding a spiritually enlightened path towards building average bikes for average people as a substrate for extra ordinary paint.
‘Petor comes at cycling from a place of fun, experimentation, and sometimes radical self-expression. Dear Susan bicycles are a breath of fresh air for even the most cynical and furrowed-browed frame building enthusiast.’

exzentriker
Building bicycle frames since 1995 with lots of breaks, due to studying, job and riding rather than building, I did start over in 2014 in my own small shop. This was made possible through fantastic friends like Kai, Recep, Flori, Sean, Ross and most important Esther. Since 1998, when done with racing, I do love my SingleSpeed and lately my 29er MonsterCrosser. With ideas like the original exzentriker, at first realized with Habi, its derivations, the spanner or steel frames – ingenious components are solving problems nagging cyclists now and in the future.

Heim bicycles
Heim bicycles is a one man company based in Trondheim, Norway. As a novice builder in the bikescene, this will be my second year at the Bespoked after building for about 1 year. I strictly build with steel, mostly Columbus and Reynolds with love for both lugs and fillets. My work is based on oldschool building. We're talking full scale blueprints by hand, building off table and mitering with handfiles, none of that fancy stuff, keeping it simple and rad. I build forks, wheels, frames and do all the paintwork myself. Check out my stand and let's have a chat. Looking forward to seeing you at this years show!

Lauf Cycling
Lauf is Icelandic for “Leaf” which describes the company’s super-light, innovative leaf spring suspension forks which were conceived in 2010 over a bike-ride aprés beer.
Benedikt Skulasson at the time was an R&D engineer for a high-end composite prosthetic foot company when he pitched his idea to his good friendand industrial designer Gudberg Bjornsson. Proving the technology first in mountain biking, the business for Lauf has really taken off with their Grit and GritSL gravel forks.
The glass fibre springs are bonded into the carbon fibre structure and offer 30mm of zero maintenance shock absorption with exceptional small bump performance.

My grandfather Mimi, who used to help me fixing my bike, gave me the enthusiasm for cycling. My Grandma Delfina’s brothers were two passionate pistards, in fact they used to steal money from her pocket to go riding in the Vigorelli velodrome.
In addition, two cousins of my grandma were skilled framebuilders in the 40s who worked in the golden years for F.B. and Campagnolo
In 2008, as I started riding track bikes, I began to attend to workshops of my town’s framebuilders, and then I became passionate about this job.
