The Stanforth Kibo has been primarily designed as an terrain expedition bike inspired by and named after the Cranes' feat of cycling up Kilimanjaro. Its lugged frame is hand built by one of the UK's top frame builders, Lee Cooper, using the strongest gauge of Reynolds 631 lightweight steel. Cross continent expedition is hardwired into its DNA with bosses for three bottle cages and front and rear racks. All parts have been selected with attention to detail - the Shimano Deore/XT transmission, the Tektro cantilever brakes, the Nitto riser stem, the Rigida Sputnik rims, and of course a Brooks B17 saddle.
Stanforth Bikes also offers custom builds of the Kibo.
